2006 Japanese team's first season after being granted late entry by FIA. Fronted by former driver Aguri Suzuki, with engines supplied by Honda. Yuji Ide dropped from second race seat alongside Takuma Sato after poor performances in first four rounds. Ide replaced first by ex-Renault tester Franck Montagny, then by third driver Sakon Yamamoto. Contest first 11 rounds with modified 2002 Arrows chassis. Performance improves with introduction of SA06 car, taking Sato to top-ten finish in Japan.
